In 2022 I started a level 3 In extended diploma at Cheshire college south and west in Chester in September 2022 until June 2024 and I started to learn how to model and the bare basics of how to model and work on a project based on micro machines with a theme and I had star wars theme and a RPG Game environment but before I even got into any of that I had to taught the bare minimum basics of maya and game engine Unreal engine 5 and a little of Unity too.

On this page I add information from my Padlets from Year 1 and 2 oof games development level 3 showcasing what I said and done. Padlet was used to produce evidence and submit our work and its evidence.
As this was my first time understanding Maya and learning the various different tool a lot of the first year was doing so with different models and tools and showcasing them which I will go on to show through this page. All the work and projects I did within thesse two yyears achieved me the grade of Distinction *
Games Development Level 3 (2022 - 2024)
Year 1 (First Year)

This is a PDF that I exported off my college pallet of all my work and where I started and the progression of modelling through the first year The first project started with the basics and showing the development of using maya and various other software. As can be seen the very begging I had not any knowledge and can see the development progress through to the second project.

Year 2 (Second Year)
In the second year we looked into the unreal engine and setting up a scene and modular building techniques and modelling practices used. We also looked int o game GDD's and what they are and do and made one for our scene which was for an RPG Style game. I started to learn the basics of UE5 and get an understanding on how to to things and uses the basics of UE5.

Towards the end of the second year we looked into character design and character building and made our own designs for concept art and modelled our own models

This PDF showcases all my project work from the second year and how much I progressed from the first year and actually started working on project based stuff. the files that don't show up within the PDF I have also attached next to the PDF or below if on mobile so if you'd like to look at those files are just the template files for the project ideas and what we used to look at as an example they don't hold a lot of information but just showcase what the idea process is like.

Year 2 (Second Year) [Carers Research]
This is a PDF shows the research and careers side of things I did to look at and understand about carers within games development and also showcase a couple of extra game asset and concept art work to go along side it as well
and building a mini Padlet style portfolio for this careers research.
